FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically I charge $150 for bridal makeup and $75 per for bridesmaids makeup. I do, however, offer discounts for Thumbtack users, so pricing on Thumbtack quotes may vary slightly from these rates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I send a brief questionnaire covering details such as eye and hair color, style preferences, day-to-day habits, etc. I also ask a new client to send several inspiration photos or their pinterest board, to get a better idea of what exactly they're looking for. If they are unsure, I send them several samples based on general criteria and then have them choose favorites. I then schedule a complimentary trial application where I learn more about their skin type and skincare habits. I typically schedule these appointments in the morning so that clients can wear their makeup/hair throughout the day to test its longevity. I use a fair amount of mineral makeup, and I just love how it settles into the skin over time and becomes increasingly more radiant and glowing rather than losing color as some makeup can do.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied makeup and Esthetics at the Aveda Institute in Denver, CO
