- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
**our website is still in the process of being set up- any questions can be answered through a Thumbtack message, call or text!** GROOMING: Our grooming service includes haircut, bath, brush out, ear cleaning and plucking, nail trim or grind. We will not leave until your dog looks and smells perfect! XS 1-15lbs: BATH $45 GROOM $80 SM 16-25lbs BATH $55 GROOM $95 MED 26-40lbs BATH $65 GROOM $120 LG 41-70lbs BATH $75 GROOM $135 XL 70+lbs BATH $85 GROOM $150 Any larger must be met in person prior to appointment! For severely matted dogs: if you would like your dog to have mats shaved down, an extra $20 fee applies. If you would like the mats to be fully brushed out, to keep the hair long, $20 for every 15 minutes, timed, will apply. D shedding treatment and flea and tick treatments are charged as a groom! They are expensive and time-consuming treatments. As much as we try to keep our prices as low as possible, we must charge a $25 gas/tolls fee for New Jersey clients, and a $15 gas/tolls fee for Long Island, Staten Island and Westchester clients. We understand grooming your pet is expensive, therefore we absolutely understand and accept these fees as a tip! Boarding: $70 per night. We are crate free, our home is your dog's home. We take them to the park daily, on local trips weekly. All of our services are covered by pet care insurance!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon initial contact, the customer and I discuss the pet, what kind of service needed, we discuss prices, and specifics of the service (how many walks, what kind of shampoo, etc.), then set a scheduled location, time and date. With the very first meeting of a customer, we will meet you or you will meet us. We play with your pet, get to know him or her a little. We will then give you a base price, based on the service you need, that will be your price from then on (for that service).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are both certified in Pet First Aid! Fay: The groomer of the duo. She has been working with specifically dogs and cats since 2007 cama and started grooming in 2012. She is a Vet Tech Gama and has worked up multiple veterinary clinics and animal shelters. Ray: Takes care of the boarding dogs, and is a dog trainer. He has grown up with no
