I have been trained at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem and obtained my degree in Classical Guitar studies there.

Introduction: Austin Morel has spent over a third of his life playing guitar, and has enjoyed every moment of it. He has learned from teachers who have been taught by classical guitar masters (Pepe Romero, Leo Brouwer, William Kanengiser and Dušan Bogdanović). He also attended a university as a high school student to study advanced classical guitar techniques with the Professor and Performer Michael Kudirka.
My favorite moments are when I see my students get lost in the music. That point when they finally "get it" and break their plateau; that moment is why I teach music.
