FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
TO REQUEST A QUOTE OR AVAILABILITY PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL US VIA OUR WEBSITE. We offer convenient, affordable, private obedience sessions at your home or at a location of your choosing. We ask $50 a session. Each session runs about an hour in length. For some sessions we work at pet friendly locations, or match your dog up with another client's so you can learn to facilitate safe play or teach your dogs to act calmly around one another. For other sessions we head to the hiking trails to work on recall and off leash behaviors, and for most sessions we work at your home, improving manners.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first session typically begins by assessing your dog and drawing up future goals. We are firm believers in teaching you as the owner how to train, and not simply training your dog by ourselves. We encourage you to ask questions and explain the modern techniques and philosophies behind our training. We will then spend the remainder of the session working with your dog and then showing you how to continue the training. Between sessions we leave you with "homework", and are always available via text if you run into any problems or need clarification. You're not merely a paying customer; you're family.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Being both professional dog trainers, my husband and my lives revolve around all things canine. We enjoy our work, and like being as well-read as possible in every philosophy and training strategy so as to best help you and your dog. We raise and train one service dog a year in our home, and have placed teams all across the country, from LA to NY. We are both college educated, and my husband Chandler is currently a Captain in the Marine Corps Reserves. Semper fi!
