- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, my basic hourly rate is $40/ hr.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During the first session I assess the student's skills and proficiency level as well as his/her learning style. This will allow us to create an effective and individualized learning plan. We also discuss the student's current experience in the classroom, if applicable, and his/her learning needs. This process lays out a good foundation for future meetings.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed most of my secondary education in Guatemala, Central America, my BA at the University of California, Irvine. I received extensive teacher training through the Pomona Unified School District, Pomona, CA and Santa Paula USD, California. I completed Language Acquisition and ESL teaching courses at the UC Santa Barbara and general teaching courses at the University of La Verne.
