- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do give discounts, especially when helping buy and sell together. I do get my sellers more money by accurately pricing the home. For buyers, I negotiate to get the home they want and negotiate to get them all I can through the inspection process.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet and discuss the market and the needs of the customer. If it is a seller we meet at their home and I tour the home, and connect the home to the market, then we talk staging and the process. If it is a buyer we then tour a couple homes. I ask that they share their thoughts as they are going through homes. The more I know about wants and needs the more I can help them find their dream home. I enjoy negotiating for my clients and helping them with the contracts to make a smooth closing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do 8-12 hours of continuing education every year. I use top software for contracts. For every seller, I study the neighborhood and around it. Looking at what the home's current competition and what like it is under contract and has sold (for appraisal purposes). For buyers I study the neighborhoods to get an idea of what the ideal offer would be to make sure there is value in the home they are purchasing.
