Introduction: I have been behind the lens for over 30 years. In 2012, I decided to make something of my passion for photography into something more than a hobby. My work has been published by magazines and newspapers, used in travel websites and purchased by individuals for personal purposes. I have done event photography, wedding photography and various types of portrait photography. I also enjoy landscape and nature photography and working with others to help them take better photos. Professional photography services can be expensive. I know that we all cannot afford thousands of dollars to hire a photographer. My services are not "cheap", but I believe them to be affordable. I enjoy working with people and helping them capture those special moments. Nothing pleases me more than knowing that we've made some great photos together that you will treasure for years.

Steve Coyle is such a wonderful guy and such an amazingly versatile photographer! Not only did he squeeze us in with only a months notice before our wedding, but in that short amount of time he contacted all of our vendors, went to scout our locations for our wedding ceremony and reception to make sure he found the best portrait sites and to get the lighting planned just right for the big day... He communicated with me every step of the way and met with us for hours at our home, he was great with our 3 year old son and talking with him was like talking to an old friend. The amount of time, interest, and heart he put into our family and our wedding photographs puts him in a league of his own. The photos of our special day came out fantastic- exactly what we wanted- actually better. He used high quality equipment, preplanned many shots for us so we weren't winging it during the wedding/reception, took special photo requests from our guests, all the while still getting the shots we wanted, and He composed the shots in such a way to get perfectly crisp, clear, well lit photos in a dimly lit room and also got some wonderful shots of all the bubbles as we exited outside at night. So many of our guests told us how impressed they were just watching him work at the actual wedding/reception, and after seeing the pictures, they complimented him and his work even more! He even met with us a week after the wedding to go over the pictures one by one, recalling the memories of the day with us. I can't thank Steve enough for everything he did for us. We will always have wonderful memories of our special day thanks to Steve. We will be doing family portraits with him as soon as we can!

Steve was truly amazing! he not only took amazing photos but he was there with us every step of the way. He made sure we had thought of everything. What was our plan, the decorations we will have, what time we were doing certain things, do we have a plan B. He was always double checking we were on the right track so he could do the best job he can with our photos. He is super quick to respond. Always answers questions you may have and he is very prompt. Steve worked with us even when our plan went out the window a little. He improvises to do what works best for you and makes sure you get the most out of his time. He's a fantastic person to work with and I really am glad we hired him to be our wedding photographer. These are memories we will have for the rest of our lives and he captured them exactly the way we wanted them to be. He doesn't work for you, he works with you and that's the best part about him.

Steve made our day so easy and memorable. From finding him through wedding wire, to contacting him, and working with him through our plans to the very day of, he was professional, personal, and flexible. He came up with a day of schedule before any of my other vendors had even spoken with me about day of specifics so I could begin piecing together the details of our special day. He was always one step ahead and very welcoming to our vision and family traditions. Great with the kids and big families, he made our entire wedding party feel at ease and relaxed through the stress and excitement. His photos are BEAUTIFUL and truly captured the magic of each moment. We can see the joy in each family member's face, and all the memories that got lost within the pace of the wedding day. We have had so many complements for his professionalism and the quality of the photography we get to share with our family and friends. I can't say enough about Steve's work. Steve took our wedding night photos. He was both "invisible" and "everywhere" at the same time. Every important moment captured and every detail covered. And when he staged us for important photos it was quick and painless (unlike most weddings I've been in). If you have the fortune to have Steve as your photographer you will indeed be fortunate. We give Steve "four thumbs up!"

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard rate is $150 an hour. This will typically provide you with 20-30 fully edited, high resolution, ready for printing digital files per hour of shooting on my website for you to download. For my clients I offer printing through my lab at my costs, a substantial savings to my regular print rates and a superb quality to most places you might send your photos to to have printed. I highly encourage my clients to take advantage of this offer.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically will be in touch with you before and after the shoot. Taking your photos is really only the beginning of my work with you. I offer my clients the ability to purchase their photos through my website at a reduced rate from those I charge for my fine art photography. The advantage of this to you, compared to using photos from a DVD, is that if you order a print that you have to crop to fit into the frame of your choice, I will review your selection and potentially provide a better crop than you could make from the digital file you used. This has been a big benefit to several of my clients and an added feature not available from shoot and burn photographers.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 30 years of photography experience. I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America, Texas Professional Photographers and Austin Professional Photographers.
