Andres and Joe were great! They had no problem moving us during Hurricane Florence...they had a great attitude and made everything easy on us. Highly recommend Hornet!Sep 15, 2018Verified
Worst experience ever! Its started with them being late. I properly stacked every box so it would be easy to grab and go. They only moved my furniture and ran out of time and didn't move one box? Only moved a bed, w/d, 3 dressers, 3 couches, and entertainment center. Truck would not start, my husband had to give them a jump to even transport what little they did get on the truck. Worst experience ever. I would rather move it myself than recommend this service to anyone. Unacceptable on every level.Feb 1, 2018VerifiedBlake B.'s reply
Hello Terrameka, Thank you for choosing Hornet Moving and thank you for allowing us to resolve this issue with you to your satisfaction!
On pickup, the movers were two hours late. I now have five items damaged or broken (including a large deep freezer chest) and I am sorting out a refund or replacement for these items. Nobody representing the company that moved me was 'clean cut' and three of the four used abrasive/profane language. Good thing my kids weren't around. They were very strong and, for the most part, worked quickly.Jul 1, 2017Verified
Two young, polite, and professional men showed up to move my items. They moved like lightning and kept me involved every step of the way. I also applaud this company's diversity!Dec 1, 2016Verified
This was my first time using Hornet Moving, and it will probably be my last. The movers that were sent for my move arrived about 30 minutes late, and it wasn't that big of a deal since they moved very quickly. While the move was completed in a decent amount of time and the 3 men that came to help me were very friendly, I was extremely disappointed with how much damage was left on my furniture as well as the walls to my new townhome. The 3-star rating is actually generous considering the state of my furniture. The pictures are just some of the damages left. Almost all of my furniture is less than a year old, and almost all of it has been damaged in some way. Several nicks or broken pieces, dirty cushions (mainly from being dropped from the second floor of my old apartment down the ground level), a ripped mattress that was actually brand new, etc. The walls leading up to the second floor of my townhome have marks and deep puncture marks, which I will probably end up having to pay for come time to move out. I hope I can receive some type of compensation for all the damage that was left on my furniture and in my new place, because I spent a lot of money to have a smooth moving process and have my items moved safely and undamaged.Jul 25, 2018VerifiedBlake B.'s reply
Our company strives to make the moving experience a pleasant one, and it is apparent we failed to do that for you. Obviously, your move did not go as planned but I would like to make things right on my end. For example, I would like to hire a repair man to come out and make repairs to the damaged walls and furniture you mentioned in your review. If you could please send me pictures of the damage that occurred during your move to our email at Hornetmoving@gmail.com, I will get on the repair process immediately. Any furniture that cannot be repaired will be revisited with a monetary reimbursement. I sincerely care about our customers and how our company is viewed. I hope through working with me through this process I can help change the negative experience you had to a positive one.
