- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first want to meet the pets I will be caring for with the owner present. That way the pet can get use to me and see I'm not a stranger and they can trust me. The more I pet sit for a client the better bond that forms between myself and the pets.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an associates degree in animal science of applied veterinary technology. I also have close to 10 years of experience work in vet hospitals as a veterinary technician.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always had a strong passion for animals and wanting to work with them. I enjoy pet sitting because I get one on one time with pets and the owner so I can develop a bond with everyone in the family. I want my clients to feel 100% comfortable with me caring for their pets.
