FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each event is different and so they're priced differently. I start with a spreadsheet that calculates payroll - even that is dependent on which players are involved, the demand on that day (like holidays), etc - the distance to travel factoring in expenses, any additional personnel we need such as sound or camera or security. All of that is figured into any quote so that the quote is all-inclusive.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with talking about what you already have in mind. Each event is different whether it's a festival, wedding reception, corporate event, etc. We then work from there together to design what you need. For example, for a wedding reception, we may create a timeline of what should happen when, from there we make it happen.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Everyone in this band have been playing for more than 20 years, some more than 30-35. We've played all over the US in different acts and together. We've played in other countries. We've played for hundreds of weddings, corporate events, festivals, etc. Each one is different, but being able to take the common factors to build something unique is a skill that you only learn from doing it so many times.
