FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to only work with sites that can use an integrated hosting and design platform, like Wix or SquareSpace, because 99% of web projects do not and should not charge hundreds of dollars for continued "maintenance." I like to create sites that look amazing to users, but that can continue to be customized, added to and edited easily by clients. Doing this allows me to charge a base price for 5 pages, and then set prices for add-ons, like online booking, retail sales, e-mail marketing, SEO optimization, social media integration, etc. For logo designs alone, I charge a flat $400, but I have a massive team of designers that I work with, so you're able to see more than just my ideas. I then work with you to tweak your favorite designs so that you wind up with exactly what you had in your mind or better! If you'd like additional branding guides and marketing, those are quoted on a more customized basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I really do try to understand my client's asks, first and foremost. If I feel I am a good fit for their needs, then I lay out what they can expect from my work as clearly as possible. Communication is key and I find my best work is done when clients are as vocal with me as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in Marketing and Business Administration and a Master's in Informatics. I also have a graduate certificate in Management of Information Systems. I have done web, marketing and social media consulting for almost 17 years and for 4 years, have worked as the sole social media manager for one of the largest school district's in the country.
