FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Identify the customers needs Identify the deliverables that the customer wants after the shoot Quote the project with delivery timeframe Shoot the project Deliver on time
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I actually shot film back in my college days but gave up shooting for hire as I entered my upper level engineering classes. I started the current company 8 years ago and started by going through the certificate program at a local technical college and then by participating in various meetups where we would get together with models for a particular theme and explore lighting and posing. I also have attended numerous seminars hosted by Kelby and others.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Photography and drawing have always been a means of artistic release for me. I tend to be more of an introvert, but find that when I'm shooting, I actually am much more of an extrovert. Something about the relationships that I build from meeting a customer, to identifying their need, and then adapting my abilities to turn that into reality really make this rewarding to me.
