- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing is $250 minimum for moving a one bedroom apartment on the first floor. Anything bigger is $50 an hour with a 2 hour minimum. I also move individual pieces of furniture for my customers on a case by case basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my customer's expectations and needs first. I like to get a look at the location I'm about to move in order to properly assess the situation. I lay out what I can do to meet their expectations. I am very upfront with pricing and the hints I need the customer to do prior to my crew and I showing up on moving day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 15 years experience moving people and their possessions. I have worked with an independent contractor as well as with 2 moving companies before branching out and working for myself.
