- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is flexible, and largely determined by the type and scope of the project or service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication is key. I learn as much as I can about a client's goals and expectations for a project before I begin. I work with them to understand their ideas and objectives. Once those are clear, I set timelines for deliverables that coincide with the client's needs. We then go through a drafting process of client feedback and edits until the job is complete.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've earned both a BA in Creative Writing and an MA in Linguistics/TESOL from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I spent 5 years teaching and tutoring adults in English Language Learning, writing, reading, and grammar. From there, I took my love of writing creatively to a role at a private event design company as the brand and marketing manager. I also have created my own line of greeting cards for over 10 years.
