- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Insurance, frequency of sessions, and length of sessions helps determine the price range for an hourly rate. Insurance I cover include Allied Benefits Systems, BlueCross and BlueShield, and Beacon. If you have an Out-of-Network insurance, the self-pay rate will be used toward your deductible. For individuals paying out of pocket, an hourly rate of $120 or a discounted sliding scale will be used, available for qualifying individuals. Just ask!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For the first session, I hold an hour long intake meeting with you to review your background history, your present concerns, and then we set goals and recommendations for future sessions. Art therapist clients may use an art journal outside of sessions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm an Adlerian Art Therapist and Counselor with 5 years of experience providing consultation, counseling and guidance to clients. In addition to providing talk and art therapy, I also use mindfulness, meditation, and Internal Family Systems techniques in-session.
