- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since it's a customized service, the fee would depend on the type of service. Basic Fee structure: Service fee + cost of groceries. Please visit my website to find out more.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Step 1: Heartycooksroom gets to know your eating habits, diet and how you would like to eat in future. With the help of a detailed food questionnaire, we also get to know your preferences, restrictions, things that you would avoid, allergies, etc. If the client wants to go ahead, we will at the same time agree upon a cook day. Step 2: Based on the food questionnaire and preferences, we will then prepare a customized menu, that will be shared with you, roughly a week prior to the actual cook day. Upon menu approval, Heartycooksroom will begin preparing for the cook day. Step 3: On the cook day, we will shop for best and freshest ingredients and come to your home and cook and store. Heartycooksroom will leave your kitchen clean and home lingering with wonderful aromas of finely prepared recipes. You simply heat the meals and enjoy your free time, clean kitchen, and fabulous food. We will also leave instructions to heat and serve. Step 4: It’s always good to hear from you! Your feedback and experience will help us improve the next service. Payment: For the first service, you will pay in advance (cash/ check), the service fee in full. This will ideally be the day we decide on the cook day. The groceries reimbursement will be on the cook day. For the next/ subsequent services, simply leave a check (or cash) on the kitchen counter on the cook day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA), certified from Culinary Business Institute and a certified ‘Safe Food Handler’. Cooking is something that comes naturally to me. Thanks to My Master Chef Mom, playing with ingredients and spices has always been my favorite hobby. In a matter of few years, my hobby became my passion.
