FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like for the client to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible so that the performance comes naturally. I like to make chit-chat while setting up so that we can all feel familiar during the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. in Recording Arts from Full Sail University as well as 12 years experience in the studio setting, 17 years live audio experience, and 18 years corporate audio experience.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started off doing corporate audio visual, then my band started recording a lot. I knew about audio at that point already, but I paid attention to the engineers every time we'd record an EP or LP. I learned from a lot of fantastic engineers and then later on my own when I opened my own studio. Eventually I went to school for Pro-Audio and studied under some very accomplished engineers. Then, moving around the country, I've had some great experience engineering at various studio and live venues as an independent contractor.
