I grew up with Sean as a child, and then we lost contact for a while. Who would have thought separately we would both endeavor to pursue music! Sean is real easy to work with in the lab. He he branches any and every idea he has on the purpose of furthering the project you are working on, and once he gets a feel of your style and talent, everything else is automatic. If it were possible.. I would rather not have anyone else turning buttons for me! ECHO BASE FOR LIFE! #BLACKFLAG #INVISIBLEHANDNov 19, 2017
Sean’s a great guy to record with and an awesome dude! My bands would never need another recording engineer as far as I’m concerned.Dec 9, 2017
When it comes to recording engineers, if you are looking for the best, you have found him. Sean Daily is not only a musical genius in the studio, he is a great presence that encourages a relaxed and creative atmosphere where it is comfortable to work. That doesn't just stop at tracking either. After all is said and done, as an artist putting your masterpieces in Sean's hands, you can rest assured that he will put in every ounce of effort when making your art sound the way you want it to. I have had only great experiences working with this individual, and I highly recommend his work! Give him a call, or shoot him an email. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!Nov 19, 2017
Sean knows what he's doing. He's recorded my band, been audio post production on my YouTube videos, and helped me write music. He's very talented and easy to work with. That's why I keep doing business with him! If it makes or records a sound, he's your guy.Nov 19, 2017
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like for the client to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible so that the performance comes naturally. I like to make chit-chat while setting up so that we can all feel familiar during the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a B.S. in Recording Arts from Full Sail University as well as 12 years experience in the studio setting, 17 years live audio experience, and 18 years corporate audio experience.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started off doing corporate audio visual, then my band started recording a lot. I knew about audio at that point already, but I paid attention to the engineers every time we'd record an EP or LP. I learned from a lot of fantastic engineers and then later on my own when I opened my own studio. Eventually I went to school for Pro-Audio and studied under some very accomplished engineers. Then, moving around the country, I've had some great experience engineering at various studio and live venues as an independent contractor.
