FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates vary on the amount of time a client wishes to spend in their lesson and based on how many students are in the lesson. Feel free to contact me for rates. The first lesson always comes with a free fifteen to thirty minute consultation about goals and desires surrounding the client's yoga practice.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my clients first, so I will often take an extra thirty minutes at the first lesson so that can happen. Yoga can be an intimate thing, especially when you are being taught in your home! I want clients to feel at ease in this regard.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an RYT 200 yoga teaching certification from the Chicago Yoga Center, a Yoga Alliance recognized institution. I have also trained for over four years as a trapeze artist, and in that capacity learned a great deal about body work. Lastly, I have been an educator on Chicago's West side for ten years, and have a degree in East Asian Religions. These two elements of by background deeply influence my practice and instruction, as they allow me to more readily personalize the yoga student's experience.
