Introduction: Mama Bear Greer has dedicated her life to working with animals. She started as a dog walker and pet sitter in the late 80’s, graduated from vet tech school in 1997, then spent over a decade working with exotics. In 2008 she switched to feline specialty clinics and also was a volunteer triager for Flint Creek Wildlife Rehabilitation. Throughout this time she continued to pet sit and finally went full time as a pet sitter and home visiting nurse in 2014 with the launch of Mama Bear Pet Care. She was also Dr. Shanan’s assistant for several years with his service, Compassionate Veterinary Hospice.

I have very shy cats (one on a few medications) and was worried about leaving them for a week, but Mama Bear Greer was able to win them over. Each day I received pictures and updates, and was relieved to see how quickly my girls warmed up. I came home to find two very relaxed and contented kitties, which made me very happy. My older girl got all her meds and was in good shape when I got home. I will definitely use Mama Bear Pet Care for my next trip!
