Kim was referred to me by a coworker for my daughter to continue her piano lessons as well as music therapy. My daughter is 15 years old and has played the piano since she was 4 years old. When her previous piano teacher stopped teaching, my daughter had a hard time adjusting to a new instructors, and had stopped playing because of it. When she started lessons at Create Music, LLC, I saw a major change in her life. The teaching style that Kim uses makes music fun and easy for you to catch on. My daughter enjoys going to her piano lessons and now that Kim has incorporated music therapy with her lesson, whenever my daughter feels anxious or depressed, she goes to her keyboard and plays beautiful music which can be heard through our house . Kim also makes adjustments for us if we need to change the time of my daughter's lesson. I am truly grateful for Create Music, LLC. I would recommend her to anyone who is interested in a great music instructor!!

Kim has been a fabulous piano teacher for my 6 year old daughter. She makes the lessons fun and exciting, educational and effective. She is a skilled, nurturing and positive teacher, and easily holds my daughter's attention for the entire 1 hour lesson. We have had an excellent experience at Create Music and highly recommend it!! My 3 year old son tags along to lessons and both of my kids can't wait to see Kim at the next lesson!!

Kim has been giving our 2 kids (6 & 4) piano lessons for the last 4 months and we are very happy with their progress and the experience. She is excellent with our kids, adjusting the lesson format for their personality. Highly recommend her.

Kim is a young and enthusiastic person, who has an easy smile and a contagious laughter, but is very attentive when teaching. She listens to my requests of an adult with a previous piano exposure who wants to play the piano for personal enjoyment and enrichment, but she does not skip the technique I need to become a decent pianist. On my first lesson, she gave me a copy of the sheet music I am interested in and articles on hand exercises. Her CV shows that her interest in music is not only to teach it but to help promote, through music, the mental and physical wellness and growth of individuals of all age groups.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are as follows: 30 minutes - $25 45 minutes- $37 60 minutes- $50 I will travel to you up to 10 miles at no extra charge. If the travel is greater than 10 miles an additional fee will be assessed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 17 years of experience playing piano and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy from Wartburg College where I studied piano as my primary instrument.
