I’m a Graphic Designer and a Portraiture Photographer in town. Since I was a child, I have taken photographs of everyday moments and small happenings in my life and assembled the photos into albums. The albums make up bits and pieces of my life story and tell a bit about who I am, from my perspective. My life’s work is creating photographs and albums that tell stories of moments and happenings in the lives of my clients. My goal is to show the beauty, grace, strenght and enthusiasm of people. My experience with Valesca Design & Photography has been very pleasant. The first time I requested her services was in February 2017. I wanted a customized gift for my boyfriend and I had some ideas but didn't know exactly what I wanted. I told her there are some things we say to each other that are very meaningful to us, but I wasn't sure these ideas could turn into something nice. She asked me for my favorite pictures and she made sure she had down the phrases I mentioned. She started working on my project right away and she sent me different designs and updates constantly, which I really appreciated. I ended up getting an amazing gift that means a lot to us! My boyfriend has the card and mug on display in his office and the pillow is over our bed as a cute reminder of how we feel about each other. We were so satisfied with the results that we decided to get a family photo session with our two-month old puppy and the blooming bluebonnets. It was great! She was really patient with our dog and we got our first family pictures from her. I will definitely use her services again and would totally recommend her work.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, I have different packages at my website. But if the customer has a special request or budget, I can create a package for them.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set an appointment and talk about what the customer needs and make a proposal. If the client says "yes" then we book a date and location. The location of your portrait session is up to the customer! For most of my sessions, outdoor, open-air environments are always my first choice. I love shooting in wide-open natural spaces because the light is divine, especially during golden hour.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Photography has been always my passion, it started as a hobby and now I love do it professional.
