Precision Tile works installed base cabinets, a granite farm sink, granite countertops and a huge granite peninsula with a bar top. Ransom reinforced the sink base cabinet to withstand the 200+ lb sink and the cabinets to create the pennisula in my kitchen. He is a true craftsman. He strives for perfection and delivered a beautifully remodeled kitchen for my family. Ransom worked around our schedule. He was courteous and polite.He diligently cleaned up every evening before leaving for the day. Ransom ensured we were happy with the final outcome of the project...and we absolutely love everything!

After seeing the tile work that Ransom did at my brother's new home, we contacted him in May of 2013. He tiled our large kitchen floor, a nook over the stove, two bathroom floors and our laundry room floor, plus our double sided fireplace. He not only did an excellent job, but used his creative abilities, to design and frame the fireplace and hearth beautifully. It is the first thing that people see when they enter our home and not one person has failed to remark about home nice it looks. We are now looking forward to Ransom's return in about a week to tile the backsplash in our kitchen.

Ransom Did an amazing job on my kitchen backsplash. He was there when he said he would be. After 5 years it still looks beautiful and I love it. He has great ideas for patterns and an eye for seeing it and making it look more then just tile but art.

This was a granite counter top. I got four different estimates. Ransom, the owner, was the only one who showed up exactly on time. He understood what I wanted and didn't try to sell me more than I wanted. After I agreed to give him the job, he remained in constant contact with me, and worked with my schedule. The finished work was beautiful. And he was careful to keep my place as dust free as possible. He has a very good work ethic, and I plan on using him again when I do my bathroom.

We received about 8 estimates from different companies. Ransom delivered the most concise and least confusing quote of all. He was very easy to work with and super flexible with our time and budget. He is a super guy and does incredible work. My dogs loved him he is very professional and every tile was placed perfect (I checked all of them :)). He made suggestions and offered insight a first time bathroom remodel easily could have missed and been disappointed. We have 2 more bathrooms, a laundry room and kitchen all which we will be exclusively using Precision Tile Works for.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Growing up I helped my father fix our rental properties for as long as I can remember. When I was 19 I started doing small remodels and tile jobs, it all took off and snowballed from there I spent time working in depth with highly experienced contractors who build hotels and hospitals and learned a lot about the building process from start to finish. Today I still enjoy doing finish carpentry, kitchen remodels and tile and stone the most.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently remodeled an entire house in Colorado Springs. It took us about 3 months to complete. When we took the project over it was in the framing stage, and much of it had been done incorrectly and not to the specs on the plans. We were able to work with the local regional building department to correct the framing issues and keep the project moving along. We changed the layout of a couple of rooms to make it flow and make better sense and added an additional room. My favorite part of the project was putting the kitchen and bathrooms together, including a bar island in the kitchen, all new cabinets paint flooring and granite. We actually sold the house before we even completed the project, and the new owners and neighbors couldn't have been happier with the outcome.
