FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
With insurance claims the only cost to the homeowner is their deductible. We also offer advertising incentives to help homeowners lower their out-of-pocket costs. For homeowners with very high deductibles I have alternative methods to help lower out-of-pocket expenses. For cash bids, pricing is standard, but the actual bid fully depends on the uniqueness of each individual job. Measurements and scope of work must be determined before any estimate can be generated.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The repair process always begins with getting to know the customer and listening to their wants and needs. I need to make sure to fully understand what the customer is looking for before anything can begin. Once the customer and I understand each other then I can begin my inspection of the repair/replacement to be done. I enjoy showing the customer what I am seeing while explaining details about the work that will be done as we do the inspection. After these things I will put together my estimate for the services and present it to the customer either on site or via email, whichever is more convenient. After that we discuss the next steps for moving forward with the work! My process is very simple and the most important thing to me is to maintain excellent communication and be perfectly clear about what is happening during the job.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Our company boasts an unbelievable ZERO complaints filed against 1st Priority Roofing since it began! For many years in a row we have been awarded Gold Star Certificates from the BBB because of this achievement. I would highly encourage customers to find a company that has an A+ rating with the BBB and also has very few to no complaints filed against them, because oftentimes that is a good indicator of how the project will unfold. One other thing to be wary of is working with companies that are extremely large (such as big national companies), very small companies, or companies that come in from out of state. The reason being is that you can easily expect a lower quality of services from these kinds of companies. With large, national companies there is consistently a lack of communication and long timeline to get a project done, small companies oftentimes do not have the manpower or the insurance skills to handle the work needed, and out of state companies are always less accountable for their work than local companies are because as a local company our success depends on our reputation! At 1st Priority Roofing we boast about not being too large to lose communication or customer care during a job, we have done thousands of projects all up and down the front range, we are experts with insurance claims, and we are local: founded right here in Colorado Springs, CO with our offices located in Centennial, CO.
