- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up learning construction from my dad and uncles, worked for years for a lighting and electrical company, and eventually apprenticed under an experienced general carpenter doing all sorts of residential remodeling home improvements.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I supported myself through graduate school working in construction trades- just loved hard work and building! After graduation, I found I get more fulfillment being self-employed and continuing this same work than pursuing a career with my degree.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most often, I'm subbed by contractors and realtors to do various home improvement projects. I have also done work for retired military, business professionals, all types of home owners, and of course family and friends!
