FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our in-home appointments begin with an initial inspection. We use a variety of instruments to help us determine what is going on with your home. Once we understand what is going on, we take you around the house and show you the "Why's and What's" of the damage that is occurring. Once we help educate you on what is happening, we will discuss a multitude of repair options with you. Sometimes you have many choices, sometimes there are only a few choices as to how to proceed to repair your home. Just like with all decisions, some of the longer-lasting repair options are more expensive than the short-term options. But sometimes the best solution is the least expensive. When we come to your home we are not looking to spend 2 hours on a sales pitch. We are simply looking to understand, educate, consult and offer several options for repair. We believe that because this is your home and your investment and ultimately your problem, you are the only person who can decide the right fix for you and your family. We consult with you on costs and then we step back and let you decide how to proceed. We do not leave any repair method off of the table.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BS from Texas Tech University Certified in Foundation Repair by Earth Contact Products (ECP) Certified Foundation Repair Specialist with Foundation Supportworks
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Each of us at Foundation Pros of CO have our own story of how we got started in this industry. Personally, I began in 1998 as a property adjuster for State Farm working in a foundation only unit. We only dealt with broken foundations and the cause of the break. I am a 3rd generation General Contractor but foundation work has always been a specialty. I also worked for a couple of competitors in town before landing here.
