FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication is key. In order to work well together, we'll discuss the scope of the intended project. This is usually done by phone, and then at the job site. It's always best to meet with a customer at the job site, if possible, in order to provide an accurate estimate after the initial phone conversation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 25 years of experience in construction and graduated from the Washburne Trade Academy in Chicago, Illinois.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been in construction my entire adult life. The first construction company I worked with renovated historical, Victorian homes in the Wrigley Field area of Chicago. This type of specialized renovation requires more time and care since everything must be "reused," which adds to the difficulty of the project. Fortunately, this is the environment that shaped and developed my construction skills and where I learned a lot of my craftsmanship expertise. This is in fact the reason why I named my company Craftsman Construction Services.
