- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I actually started as a gamer on the Commodore 64, and later to the Amiga platform... I had taken 2 years typing in high school so I could type fairly well. I accepted a job temporary job at the Micro Center doing data entry for their buying corporate office... later I went to a medical billing company where I started doing Dater Entry and one year later I was the System Administrator... from there started at a school district with no professional certifications, but the school offered to pay for my training as long as it was related to their networking environment, during the next seven years I had obtained 15 certifications including the CNA, CNE, MC NE Professional Certification.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
All types of clients, some that have absolutely no knowledge of computers or networking, to others who were the best in the field.. small business, Financial and Banks, School Districts, to Honda of America.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the professional you select has experience in the specific field of your needs . .. I have more than 20 years of "on hands" experience in Networking & Technology.
