We have used Kenneth at Elite Hardwood Floors on two separate occasions. The first was to repair and refinish the hardwood floors in my mother's house after a flood that started in her kitchen damaged the flooring and baseboards throughout the kitchen, dining room, and all the way into the den and formal living room areas. The house was built in 1956 and the hardwoods were original, but they had been covered by carpet since the mid to late '70's. Needless to say, Kenneth had his work cut out for him. Mom decided to put down some new Brazilian Cherry hardwoods in the den and kitchen (to replace some hideous vinyl tile and linoleum), so Kenneth was able to salvage some "good" sections of the original hardwoods from the den to replace flooring in the formal living room that was too severely water-damaged from the flood to remain in place. Kenneth did an excellent job and all of the flooring turned out beautifully. I'm not so sure the "original" hardwoods looked that good "originally"! Everything looked better than brand new! Some months later, when my wife and I decided to replace the Berber carpet on the first floor of our then six-year old house, Kenneth was again our only consideration for the job. He was able to get us an excellent price on the laminate flooring we liked and the installation went flawlessly. Between the dogs (we have three) and the heavy foot traffic downstairs, we are so happy to be rid of that carpet! I can assure you that if and when we decide to replace the carpet upstairs with laminate or something similar, we'll be calling Elite! Kenneth's prices are VERY competitive and his workmanship and attention to the finest of details is unmatched by anyone in this area. Very good man that runs the company and I was in a severe bind from water damage and he would stay late trying to get it done for me .... I have used him for other work and very pleased hated to hear when he was gonna be going to doing flooring and not doing multiple type jobs. But he does a wonderful job with flooring and will be the one I call when ready to put other wood flooring in the house. He really does go above and beyond.
