- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After booking a free consultation, I will travel to the client's home so that I can meet them and their pets. Once I had the opportunity to meet the pets and see the home, I will have a one on one talk with the pet owner to see exactly what it is they require. I also aim to have a professional but personal relationship with all of my clients so that they are never unsure about my care or how far I will go in order to make them happy. No job is ever too much, and I will always go above and beyond for my clients. After understanding their expectations, the client will receive a packet with a detailed list of prices, services, what's involved, a history of Pink Paws Pet Care, and other information. This packet is designed so the client can personalize precisely what they do and do not want when hiring Pink Paws Pet Care. Each new client will have access to our industry-leading software that gives them access to their own, personal profile that includes all documents/forms and detailed information on them & their pet! With this software, clients are also able to schedule/edit/cancel services, as well as make payments and view updates!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My entire life has been around animals. As a child, I was known around the neighborhood for walking people's dogs for $0.50 per block. I would go door to door with a little pamphlet I drew up with some markers. Even at this young age, I loved taking care of pets, which is why I was happy taking dogs out for a short walk so that they got the exercise they needed and didn't stay cooped up inside the home all day. During my teenage years, I volunteered at many animal shelters where I was able to learn about many specific breeds and types of animals. Personally, I have owned many different types of animals; from dogs to tarantulas, and everything in between. I have personally been responsible for newborn animals, mainly kittens and puppies, and understand how to give them the proper attention and care they need. I also have plenty of experience with senior pets and even know how to administer IV and subcutaneous fluids for the sick and elderly. I started to perform certain jobs for friends, neighbors, and families at a very young age and eventually decided to start my own business in pet care.
