Working with Emily has been extremely helpful in many ways. The most significant for me has been the IFS work she has led me through on a number of sessions. I am fascinated by the changes I have already seen in how I handle situations and relationships from doing the very beginning stages of this work. I also really appreciate when Emily gives strong support and positive feedback on some achievements that seem small or insignificant to me, as I can be a bit hard on myself. Emily has an amazing intuition, as well as true openness, and establishes a very safe space in which to communicate. I find that I can be free with how I express myself, but still maintain an easeful structure within our work together. I also really appreciate her recap emails where she gives a run down of what was covered in the session. Emily has a way of making you feel comfortable in your own thoughts and body. As a person, she is caring and also someone who you can relate to and vice versa which makes a big difference. After every session I leave with new perspectives, big and small, and am able to approach things in a new light....which isn’t always easy when your stuck in a thought! Haha. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I find that the best standard payment plans occur monthly, at the end of each month. I do not require a certain number of months commitment, but coaching is most successful with consistency. I'm happy to discuss the plan that works for you best - I'm flexible, and transparent about my rates. Most of my clients are happiest with 2 - 3 sessions per month. The more sessions we set up monthly, the bigger the discount I can offer you! :)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We would start with scheduling a discounted, hour-long sample session. We will spend the first 30 minutes actually in a coaching session, where I can demonstrate what you can expect from me as your coach. We will then take the last 30 minutes to debrief. If all goes well, we can schedule time in the future to complete and discuss client paperwork, appropriate pricing, and session scheduling.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a degree in psychology and I graduated from Coach U, an ICF-accredited coach training program. I am also a member of the ICF (International Coaching Federation).
