- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing varies by Square foot of the residence as well as any ancillary services such as sprinkler systems, pools, outbuildings, Radon Gas, or water quality testing. We also discount our standard pricing model when working with Thumbtack members because it actually saves several steps for us and our staff. It's easier on us, so we pass that savings on to you - our customers!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once our customers have accepted the bid through Thumbtack, we will contact the customer directly in order to set an inspection date. We also use this opportunity to discuss any areas of concern that the customer might have with the home they want inspected.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our inspectors are licensed through the State of Texas as a Professional Home Inspector. This is a long and arduous process which really tests your ability to pay attention to details. While we are not code inspectors, a lot of codes and construction knowledge is required to do this job. Having a construction background helps us perform our inspections to the best degree possible. We want to offer our customers the best, so we require all inspectors at Top Tier Inspection Group to also hold several certifications with the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI). These certifications require additional training, time and commitment to maintain, but they allow us to offer our customers the most thorough, professional inspection in DFW.
