Dog training type
Board and train at a facility
Larry came in, was very professional and right to the point. He worked with our dog . He got our dog settle down and taught us what we need to do to train our dog. Our dog was very aggressive. Thank you Larry. If we need you again I'll be sure and call. I highly recommend LarryApr 5, 2019Verified
Amazing training session! We learned a lot of great training techniques that we can use on our own to help with our pup. I saw improvement with my dog right away and it has really helped us! I would 100% recommend!Apr 10, 2018Verified
A great dog trainer. We saw progress instantly. Very easy going and friendly. On time and very polite. Gave us very good tips to work on and I liked how he has a balanced approach towards dog training.Mar 17, 2018Verified

Larry is great! He is beyond fair with his pricing and he takes his time while at your training session. He makes sure both you and your dog are comfortable with the type of training methods that will be used and brings everything you will need for training with him.Mar 18, 2019
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Just as dogs are individuals, so are training plans. Depending on your needs, we can do hourly "issue sessions" or I have package training information available to email for obedience, boarding, and board/train.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I think through a few messages you can get the feel of a person, but a meet and greet is definitely a must. With "behavioral issues" it would be necessary for us to not only see how the dog acts in his/her environment when addressing the behaviors, but also to see how you act/react. We would need to make a big picture training plan, as well as communicating more detailed session-based plans, of how we can address not only your pet's actions, but teach you how you can sustain the good behaviors and be the pack leader, so y'all can have a balanced and happy home life.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been part of training three dogs to perfect scores on the Canine Good Citizen Test as administered by the Missouri Humane Society. I worked mainly with the large breed dogs at the Operation Kindness shelter in Carrollton for a year and half. I am certified thru Animal Behavior College as a Dog Obedience Instructor. I also have a 8yr old 80 lb Golden/Lab/Husky mix, and a 1yr Bichon (I "inherited" from client because they didn't have the wherewithal to deal with rehabbing all of his anxiety/scaredness).
