- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With all clients I first have them send me a few images they love of celebrity make up. That always helps me get a clear vision of what they want to look like for their special event. 💄 Then while I apply skin care, we talk about the look they want, favorite make up they've worn in the past, any skin allergies or sensitivities. Getting to know my clients is such a big part of helping them shine on their big day! ✨
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I was a make up artist in Los Angeles for 7 years before moving to the Chicago area. While there I worked on tv and film sets, fashion shows and headshots. I did editorial make up for modeling shoots as well. In both Detroit and Los Angeles I also worked full time at MAC make up. There I met and did make up for every kind of person and face you could think of. In recent years I've focused on freelance make up for clients and special events. I love to travel to your home, set up a gorgeous make up kit and get to work on helping you look and feel stunning. 💞
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Go with someone you like! You'll be spending time with your artist and hopefully will develop a relationship. An artist who listens is key!
