FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have estimating software that I use. This allows me to change prices based on zip codes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I have to make sure I understand what the customer wants. If you think I am quoting you for the wrong services, please let me know. I use the information provided, and the knowledge I have, to create the estimate/price. I will always give the high end quote, to help ensure I never go over that. If a customer asks for work beyond the original, I will usually create a new estimate for the additional work. I have never finished a project and asked for more money than the original quote. I have lowered the price though. If the request says you want 50-100 of something done, I will always quote at 100. If I get to your home and it's actually only 60, I will provide a lower price. As far as communication, I will talk on the phone, or chat via email or Thumbtacks message system. My information is here in my profile.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in construction/installation since 2004. I have worked as a truss builder, wiring installer, all the way up to roofer, including shingles.
