- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor's of Science In education. I am also certified to teach Early Childhood-6th grade all subjects. I am also certified to teach science up to 8th grade and ESL up to 12th grade. I have an extensive background in integrated language arts. I was an English major for 3 years with an interest in becoming a high school English teacher. While I did not follow that path, I feel extremely comfortable tutoring high school and college students in reading and writing.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have taught students of all ages. My classroom experience covers preschool classrooms through fifth grade. My tutoring experience covers grades up through high school. I have also taught swim lessons to students that were six months old to adult students!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently finished up a unit on the circulatory system with a student. We studied blood, blood vessels, and the heart over the course of two months. At the end of the unit we dissected a sheep heart and an earthworm. He was able to identify the different parts of the heart and their functions.
