- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My goal is to help clients succeed, so the focus is on getting them training as frequently as possible. To that end, I price sessions attractively. The more often clients train with me, the lower price they pay per session. In addition, I discount session costs for clients who commit to at least 2 months of training with me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first meeting with a client is a consultation. We discuss client goals, current condition, and challenges. Together, we commit to a plan of action to reach the goal. the plan includes: our sessions, their own workouts (homework), outside activities, nutrition and recovery / sleep.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, an ACE Personal Training Certification, and my Power Yoga Teacher Training, I continue to educate myself by reading articles and attending relevant workshops. My focus is on optimizing function and form (making people's bodies work and look beautiful!). The best education has been physical, however. I have been active my whole life, but started training myself with weights in 1986. So that period of almost 30 years has taught me a great deal about building strength, symmetry, power and grace for clients.
