Introduction: I am a certified eating behavior coach specializing in eating psychology and mind-body health and nutrition. I help adult men and women who struggle or suffer in their relationship with food, dislike their weight, struggle with body image, binge or overeat, emotionally eat, have fatigue and/or mood issues because of food and lifestyle stress.
We work together one-on-one to identify their goals and get really clear about why they seek to make changes. To achieve external changes, it must come from within - the inner work on self (beliefs, thoughts, feelings and behaviors that follow) is what leads to lasting and the most rewarding results. The personalized coaching sessions I provide clients guides them to methods, practices and habits they can use through all phases of life.
It's my mission to help my clients find lasting, sustainable and nourishing solutions to not just improve their health in the areas that cause them suffering, but improve their overall life experience.
My own personal food, weight and body acceptance journey make me an ideal coach because I get it; the struggle and mental torment is very real, but you can free yourself from it if you're willing to take consistent action, challenge your core beliefs around food, weight and body, and willing to endure the process of change - which comes with ups and downs.
I deeply understand the societal pressure to fit in, the fear of diseases like diabetes, the relationship challenges that occur when you don't feel your best with food-weight-body, the harmful beliefs swirling in your mind every hour of every day, and the nutrition/fitness confusion you have from trying so many methods to fix what's wrong with you and never getting lasting results. It's maddening, demoralizing and makes you want to scream!!
There is hope however. I can help you break free from the food and body shame prison that you can't seem to break out of on your own so that you live a more meaningful, happy and healthy life.
My services are customized and tailored to the individuals to maximize their experience and lead to lasting breakthroughs. I have a very loving and compassionate approach with client, yet direct, cutting through and bringing to light the obstacles and excuses that have left them stuck.
I don't subscribe to any one diet or nutrition program. We are all unique and need custom solutions to fit our goals and lifestyles.
It's my belief that our food, weight and body image challenges typically stem from lifestyle stress, dysfunctional relationships, sex, financial insecurity, past traumas, lack of quality information leading to massive nutrition and fitness confusion, and our beliefs we were taught when we were young but never questioned upon adulthood. Get to the root of whichever of these (often in combination) and your food, weight and body image acceptance issues ease and resolve themselves and your health automatically improves....mind, body and soul.
I have the experience, training and passion to truly help my clients, and it's my mission to teach others how to nourish their mind and body in ways that give them ease with food and fitness, mental serenity (a.k.a. self-acceptance) and acceptance of their body; all of which will lead to a vastly healthier and happier li.
