Introduction: I am a cake decorator and professional baker, with over 10 years experience working in the food industry. Three of those I spent as the head Pastry Chef of a premier bakery and wedding cake shop in Colorado where my passion and skill in cake decorating grew. From weddings and baby showers, to first birthdays and quincineras, I love working with my customers to create a design that is unique to their event and reflects their own individuality. I also offer other pastry services, such as cookies, cake pops, cinnamon rolls, candies, and holiday goodies! I started in the food industry because I love how food draws people together and creates a space for memories to be made. When it comes to designing and making celebration cakes, for weddings or birthdays or baby showers, the excitement that I see as my customers watch a piece of their dream day come to life makes everything in my job worth it.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    My prices for cakes depend on the design. I usually start at $3 a serving for buttercream cakes' and $3.50 for fondant. I do work with customers to have the design they want without having to break the bank.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I prefer to meet in person and discuss the order. I do offer cake tastings for a small fee as well.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Pastry chef degree, 2011, Pikes Peak Community College Head Pastry Chef at The Sugarplum Cake Shoppe for 2 years, and a decorator for another year.
