- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Personal life coaching is offered at a price of $110 an hour because I am certified, however, I bring to the table a specialization in effective communication skills. I have been in the field of watching behaviors, reactions, interactions, assumptions, stereotypes, and more, play huge roles in not only how we speak on various levels, but how we hear as well. I pay attention to the things that one is not consciously aware they are doing in their actions or saying in their words. Having had experience in working with domestic violence offenders, inmates, and court-ordered clients, I realized that therapy wasn't, and isn't, always the most beneficial or effective method of intervention. This is where I take off my counseling hat, and put on my coach hat. Relational areas in the workplace that effect communication breakdown is brought to the office with a no nonsense approach. After all, even if you like your coworkers sugar coating their feelings towards you, it is not at all effective. These prices are quoted for those of you who are team leaders, in human resources, or management on varying levels, in person, because an in-depth consultation shows you just how beneficial enhancing and improving workplace relationships are. Addictions counseling is quoted at $120 an hour. However, I work with some clients based on personal situations, to lower that price to $90 an hour. I am licensed addictions counselor in conjunction with co-occurring disorders. What does this mean to you? I share with you years of knowledge, guidance, support and so on, all that has been passed on to me by great teachers over the course of several years.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? In relationship coaching, I offer a one time free consultation which includes an explanation of how sessions are geared towards your personal goals, the fees involved, the roles of the coach and the client, and a brief laser session. A laser session allows the client to present a situation that they are working on improving, and then allows me to give them insight through motivational interviewing and other techniques that allow them to assess their situations from a different mind set and/or perspective. Workplace coaching is offered as free consultation as well, and includes a sample assessment or profile, and how the workshops can enhance your company's team communication skills. Addictions clients have a one to three step process before sessions actually begin. The first step is an intake which includes gathering personal information that can give me insight to the reasons you are coming in. The second step involves assessments that determine readiness for change, resistance, and other factors. During the first part of the first session, it can become readily apparent if we are a good fit. Sometimes that changes, but sometimes, we build rapport and maintain a professional alliance with a personal touch of empathy.
