Make sure to vet your investigators since it is possible that the only private investigators who started practicing in Colorado after licensing expired that have undergone background checks are members of the PPIAC. Jordan Smith is also a Certified Fraud Examiner. CFEs were exempted from licensing requirements in Colorado; nevertheless, he was licensed from 2015 to 2021 at sunset. Jordan never received any DORA complaints when DORA regulated private investigators, nor any claims against his bond or insurance.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I want others who need help like I did, to know how Hyperion far exceeded my expectations. The entire staff is professional, honest, hardworking, and provided a work product worth every penny. I wish I’d known about this company before I spent tens of thousands on an attorney. A lot of work could have been done more efficiently and effectively had I used Hyperion for some of the services my attorney billed much more for and was unsuccessful at. Hyperion was immediately effective in service of process that was unaccomplished for months when I was relying on my attorney and his process servers. I would recommend them for all your needs in service of process, skip traces, other detective work (just ask - they can do more than is advertised), executive protection, and the list goes on. If you are looking for investigative work, you’ve found the right place with Hyperion.

Private investigations is a unique field requiring specialized services and pricing; however generally rates are between $100.00 - $200.00 per hour plus expenses.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial free consultation, followed by options for proceeding with the desired investigation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a Certified Fraud Examiner through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. I have gone through hundreds of hours of additional training and continued investigations over my investigative career. I have also conducted well over 1,500 investigative interviews.
