Experienced DIYer here. This was my first experience using a contractor. Not only did Richard take the time to answer my constant repeated questions he responded at all times of day or night to ease me through the process of insulating, hanging and finishing drywall of my 1500 sq ft basement. Will use him always for all the DIY projects I don’t want to undertake againJan 5, 2019
We were so pleased with Faros Construction! They patched some crumbling mortar and concrete for us, installed a custom cement board eave (fixing a previous contractor's screw up), and patched a large stucco crack. When the first stucco patch failed, they came back and redid it without additional fees. They were fast, courteous, and responsive. We highly recommend Ricardo and Faros Construction, and will absolutely hire them again!Jan 3, 2019Verified
Did not end up working with him but he is very responsive!Nov 2, 2018Verified
We were under a deadline to repair some bricks in our front steps as well as walkways for our HOA. Victor and Ricardo were great to work with, they even came back on a Sunday to complete the work. I cannot recommend them highly enough!Sep 13, 2018Verified
They were able to get a crew scheduled the next day to get the job done in speedy fashion. 5 guys hit the job and 5 hours later, I had a completed project. I paid for speed in this instance, they could have done a better job caulking and shoring everything up before painting and the transfer from the bid guy to the lead crew guy wasn't 100%, but that's why it is important to be on the job when the work is being done. The crew was good at asking questions when they needed to. Thank you for your hard work!Sep 4, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? At Faros Construction we are able stay competitive in prices with other contractors because we are a small company therefore our over head costs are low. We can pass those savings on to our customers. Additionally, we can work with most budgets and are willing to negotiate prices in order to beat our competitors on price. Although we charge a substantial amount under market value, the quality of our work is some of the best you'll find in the industry.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Initially I will meet the customer at the job site and walk through the work the customer is desiring. The customer will tell me what they are looking for where I can also offer some suggestions depending factors such as desired time of start and completion of project, current availability, budget, etc. I take basic measurements and usually have a detailed estimate to the customer within the next business day. I schedule a follow up call with the customer to discuss the details of the estimate. If we can work out an agreement, I schedule the start date, prepare all necessary paper work such as contracts, permits, zoning, etc. and get the materials ordered.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have worked in various types of construction fields for about 15 years now including masonry, paint and dry wall, landscaping, cement and construction management. I received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics as well as a Master's in Data Analytics. I have managed to combine my training in analytics as well as utilizing my network in the construction industry in order to bring high quality work to our customer without the price tags of larger companies.
