My photoshoot with Paul has been such a great experience. Coming from France i was used to make some shooting with my friends, but Paul has such a professional eye. I have now done two photoshoots with Paul and have absolutely loved both experiences! The shoots were very different from one another, but both turned out wonderfully! Paul does a great job of bringing his creative talent to the table during shoots, while also making sure to get your opinion on what you like or dislike. He genuinely cares about not only the photography, but about the people in front of the camera, which results in photos that show personality and look relaxed and professional!

I was looking to get some professional photos done, and immediately thought to go to PaulyPhotography. The work he did was incredible and the best part was he tried different things. One of the most creative ideas was he had me walk across the street and took pictures while I was doing it. He thought out of the box and took some incredible photos.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my clients while shooting with them. This helps me grasp their character and portray it through the photography. I like to start out with shooting the basics to bring the client to a comfortable position and then I start implementing more creative ideas. I also always ask my clients what sort of ideas they have in mind and utilize those as well per request.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked as a production assistant for ESPN as well as Drake University's creative services. I have experience with a couple shoots hired by agencies; however, I work normally as a freelancer, which I have been doing since 2014. I have taken multiple media, digital art, photography classes while at Drake. I have experience with using Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator. I am comfortable with any sort of portrait (fashion, senior photo, business portrait, etc) , engagement, event, wedding photography/videography.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have shot 21 weddings in the past 1.5 years
