- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
a one-hour initial consultation typically costs about $100 to $200 -- usually on the higher end if services provided at your home. If follow up visits are required, especially for patients with diabetes, heart disease, or another condition that could require a change in eating habits, typically they cost $50 to $150 each, depending on length of consultation and whether the nutritionist comes to your home.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have the client keep a food/activity diary for 5 days prior to initial consultation; evaluate and make personalized recommendations to establish objectives towards client health improvement goals during consult; establish follow-up activities schedule to achieve client goals.
