What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have some base prices, however every client is different, animals needs are different, I will quote you my price based on the few details provided here, if that quote seems off let me know!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Always a meet and greet and make sure you and your pets like me and if coming to my house meet my dog and make sure the house is a good fit. I do not take jobs without some sort of meeting and making sure I know what your pet really needs while you are away.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing this a few years now, I have it down pretty well, but always learning new tricks from pets and their owners.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Just have a love of dogs and seemed a logical move to start walking and sitting them, it also allows for a flexible schedule for me.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All kinds, I am not picky about the types of pets as long as they like me, we of course know that in the first few seconds of meeting each other.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure your pets like the person you decide to use, they do not need any extra stress while you are away. Make sure if you will be out of contact that someone else can be reached for an emergency with your loved ones. Trust your gut on whom you hire, and trust you pets gut, if someone does not feel right pick the next sitter.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
How frequent do you take your pet out on a normal day, what is a normal day routine. Best case you want to try and stick with that while away, I will try and accommodate as best I can to make it so your pets are not stressed out while you are gone.
