- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each project is different and certain items have a set price while others are better charged by the hour or square footage. I have standard prices for each scenario.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of my training related to my field has been on the job with experienced professionals. In the trades, this is the best possible way to learn.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working part time for a friends dad when I was younger and in need of money. He was a contractor with 30 years in multiple trades who transitioned to flipping houses and doing remodels. I realized I enjoy working with my hands and creating things and wanted to do it full time. He took me on as an apprentice and I ended up working for him for 4 years on a variety of projects.
