- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I loved the pin up style so I started teaching myself how to do the complicated hairstyles that I was seeing in the pictures. After my 2nd child I decided, with the support of my fiance, to start cosmetology school. I graduated in April of 2016 and started my own business shortly thereafter.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with bridal parties, modeling agencies, voice actors, local models, and local photographers. I've also worked with ladies who want to learn how to apply makeup as well as people getting ready for special events.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Pictures and references are a must! Also, if you have the time, do a trial run. Some people talk a big game but can't deliver. You get what you pay for so don't always go with the cheapest person.
