FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge an hourly standard rate for one or two people on each job. I have also agreed to flat rates upon intial walk thru which is what some customers are more comfortable with and works well. We will not just walk out when our hours have ended. We will continue to work for 15 to 20 min to finish any job. I believe that is good customer service. I cannot have myself or an employee just walk out because the time went over a few minutes. It's hard to determine exactly when you will be done. I believe it is bad business to say well times up sorry but I'm leaving good bye. I feel the customer is paying a fair wage and should be treated with respect. Just as my employees and I want to be respected. My reputation of good service means more to me than an extra charges. I allow plenty of time between jobs so that we do not have to hurry away when done.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Show them who we are and our abilities. To do a good job for them so that they give a good review and hopefully future work. Also, so they will refer their family and friends to our company. They know how good we did their job. Word of mouth is very valuable. I know we can be successful, reputable company in our field of business.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree in Business and Organizational Behavior. I also went through a janitorial program then began supervising mentally disabled individuals at IEMA and Hope School. I really enjoyed doing that job. It was a very rewarding time in my life.
