Introduction: What is Lack Of Focus? Lack Of Focus is a privately owned photography service created by myself, Samuel Jacob Hancock in 2017. I am a student of Journalism at the University of Oregon. I have always had a passion and desire for creating, and photography allows me to create moments that last a lifetime. Where is Lack Of Focus? I have been passionately serving the communities of Portland, OR. and Eugene, OR. for the last few years. I am currently based in Eugene, OR. However, I travel all throughout Oregon on a regular basis and am more than happy on the road meeting clients, and performing shoots. Lack Of Focus' mission: To provide outstanding photos that will encapsulate audiences and capture moments that will last a lifetime. I love being able to use my creative side, while meeting new people and cultivating business relationships that will last. I am happiest when I am out taking photos. By choosing this line of work, I am able to be my happiest, and to chase my passions professionally.

Sam was super sweet, as was his assistant. They went above and beyond, and never made us feel rushed (even though we went over time). We were in Portland for the holidays, and wanted family pictures. I came on thumbtack and Sam responded quick and with a reasonable price. When we got to the site, Sam and his assistant let us tell them our ideas, and gave us more. The pictures came out great, and I would definitely refer them to anyone / everyone in the Portland area!

I have a Media Studies minor from the University of Oregon and have been taking photography courses for 6 years.
