- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our services are based on a hourly rate. We do have a standard pricing system, which is provided to the customers when they call our office and explain their need. However, we often run seasonal or holiday specials, or offer coupons through our advertisers. Prices may be somewhat lower than our standard listing, depending on specials offered or coupons presented by the customer..
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
80% of our customer base are referrals or happy repeat clients. When we get new customers, they typically call in to our office in response to our advertising, our coupons, or by finding us on the web or in the phone directory. A phone assessment of customer needs is provided by the office manager based upon the answers to a series of requirements questions presented to the customer. Depending on the extent of moving services needed, a phone estimate may be provided by the office manager on the spot. In the event more involved services are needed, the company owner may go to the customer location and provide an onsite estimate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We offer many years of hands on experience. Olde World Movers has been servicing the DFW area since 1988. Our company is owner-operated, providing individualized services to our customers since the day we opened our doors. Our company is a member of the BBB. All of our employees work for us full time. We don't use temporary or contract staff. Our steady and long-term relationship with our workers is the driving force behind the guarantee of our customers getting the excellence they deserve.
