FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I hate having a standard pricing system for my services only because its project based. I do have a standardized hourly and daily rate for filming for someone else. However, if I say my normalized price for a music video is $1000 but you want me to fly my drone, travel to 7 locations, and it is about to take three days to film it, that standardized rate would not do my company any justice.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process when working with a new client is just to get an understanding of their needs and wants. I take note of some of the essential things I need to make a note of, how soon are they interested in filming, what's the budget for the overall project, if there are some ways we can save the client some money, and just an overall feeling of them. Throughout all of this process, they are getting an overall feeling for me while I am educating them about the process and seeing if we are a good fit for one another. I prefer face to face meetings, but email, phone, and text messages will do the trick just as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am entirely self-taught when it comes to film. I have a degree in Logistical Operations, and I am a ten year Army veteran.
